About the Journal
ALMUHKAMAT: Journal of Islamic Law (JoIL) is an international journal with double-blind peer review that accepts high-quality and theoretically based articles on various fields related to legal and sharia research analysis. Jurnal ALMUHKAMAT is published by Pasee Institute of Research, The journal publishes research articles, conceptual articles, field study reports, Islamic legal theory, Islamic legal philosophy, fiqh muamalah, fiqh siyasah, and Islamic family law, legal debates, socio-law, sharia economics and other current issues related to jurisprudence (See Aims and Scope & Ethics and Malpractice). The journal articles are published quarterly, March, June, September and December (4 issues per year). Jurnal ALMUHKAMAT aims to provide a multidisciplinary forum for discussion of ideas and information among professionals concerned with the boundaries of Islamic law, sharia and economics, and will not accept articles that are outside the aims and scope of ALMUHKAMAT. There is a growing awareness of the need to explore the fundamental purposes of the legal system and the Shari'a and the social consequences of their contact. This journal has attempted to find understanding and collaboration in the field through a variety of methods represented, not only by law and Shari'a, but also by the social sciences and related disciplines. The Editors and Publishers wish to inspire discourse among specialists from different countries whose diverse legal cultures provide interesting and challenging alternatives to existing theories and practices. Therefore, priority will be given to articles oriented towards a comparative or international perspective. The journal will publish significant conceptual contributions on contemporary issues as well as serve in the rapid dissemination of important and relevant research findings. The opinions expressed in this journal do not necessarily reflect those of the editors. ALMUHKAMAT Journal will accept papers from academics on law and sharia, legal theory, Fiqh Muamalah, constitutional law, research findings in law, Islamic legal theory, Islamic legal philosophy, fiqh muamalah, fiqh siyasah, and Islamic family law, legal debate, socio-law, sharia economics and other current issues related to jurisprudence. In particular, papers considering the following scopes are cordially invited, namely; Islamic Law, Constitutional Law, Human Rights Law, Halal Law, Sharia Court, Islamic Legal Thought, Islamic Family Law, Law and Education, Islamic Criminal Law, Islamic Law and Economics, Death Penalty, Children's Rights Law, Family Law, Anti-Corruption Law, International Trade Law, and Medical Law.
